The Campaign for Youth is a founding member of the Youth Policy Action Center, a Web-based resource that connects "grassroots" youth and adults who care about youth, "grasstops" local service and advocacy organzations, "inside the beltway" national organizations, and local, state and federal officials. The Youth Policy Action Center puts policy making power in the hands of ordinary citizens, giving visitors a direct channel to communicate with their elected officials, access the same tools used by professional lobbyists, and connections to organizations who can help them change youth policies.
The Youth Policy Action Center has officially merged with Connect for Kids, the National Youth Development Information Center, and Child Advocacy360 to create a new one-stop online spot for stories, news and action opportunities from across the child and youth field, SparkAction: for children, for youth, for change.
SparkAction will keep you connected to important news, trends, stories and advocacy tools to improve the lives of children and young people. The new site will be easier to use, full of cutting-edge interactive components and multimedia resources -- and will do more to showcase the perspectives and voices of young people themselves! Keep an eye out for a sneak peek in the coming weeks.
